Description: Rare Jackie Robinson souvenir pennant c.1947. Extremely desirable pennant being one of the great player endorsed examples of the period. Features "Brooklyn Dodgers" titling and likeness which is captioned below, "Jackie Robinson 1st Baseman." Given that his sole season playing first was his 1947 Rookie campaign it can be concluded that is was more than likely issued that year. Green felt body (28" long) is well preserved with some very minor loss to screened on portion that appears mostly to be the result of some light fold lines.
