Description: Magnificent Brooklyn Dodgers "National League Champions" Ebbets Field stadium flag c.1955. Period piece offered for the first time publicly originates from a descendant of the original recipient whom relates that it was obtained by her father, from an Ebbets Field grounds crew member, following the 1955 World Series. White silk body is accented with red edges and has "Dodgers Champions National League" lettered on either side in blue. Well preserved with mild age toning throughout along with some additional spotting. There is a small (approx. 1") tear to the material near upper pointed end. The body measures 35"x70" at extremes and the original wooden pole, with metal finial at top, is 53" long. A noteworthy and significant artifact as relates to one of the most celebrated teams in baseball history: EXEstimated Price Range: ($7,500-$10,000)
