Description: 1961 Jackie Robinson autographed photograph and related letter (both signed). Black and white 8"x10" photograph has been signed in fountain pen "Sincerely Jackie Robinson" with lengthy personalization reading, "9-18-61, To Donald with best wishes. Thanks so very much for your nice letter it was most encouraging." The signature rates 7/8-8 out of 10 with some minor imperfections to the sentiment above. An additional notation at lower left reads, "Best Regards, Mr Mc" (written in unknown hand) and there is an "Neuman Studio" stamp on back. Included typewritten letter on Chock full O' Nuts stationary reads in part, "Dear Donald: The enclosed picture was taken last summer...Carl Erskine is the other fellow in the Dodger Uniform. Your letter was well recieved. Thank you for your thoughts." Signed in ink "Jackie" rating 9/10 out of 10.
