Description: Rare Carl Hubbell endorsed Marathon glove box with glove. Beautifully done original box pictures Carl Hubbell in New York Giants uniform set against a bright orange background with his "Championship Model" noted in pennant flag below. Displays very nicely with scattered mild wear including some wrinkles, light creases, and corner/edge wear. An area at lower right (approx. 2"x3") has been professionally inpainted/restored. Matching right handed glove remains well preserved with limited use/wear and has well defined Hubbell facsimile signature. Choice pairing and one of the more attractive display boxes of the period.
