Description: 1926 World Series program with original envelope (Ruth Three Home Run Game). Original program as issued for game played at St. Louis between the Yankees and Cardinals. Interior is neatly scored in pencil for Game #4 in which Babe Ruth belted three home runs relating to a promise he made to a young Johnny Sylvester who he had met in the hospital. Exterior covers are very fine with light toning to the back. Some minor interior page foxing to the edges of the center scoring pages. The program also includes a very rare original mailing envelope featuring decorative Cardinals logo at top having some light creasing throughout: Program: EX, Enevlope: VGEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,000)
