Description: Johnny Bench game used baseball bat c.1983. Gary Redus model Louisville Slugger bat as used by Johnny Bench measuring 33 3/4" long and weighing 32.1oz. Bet shows heavy use including ball marks, stitching impressions, and pine tar residue on the handle. Vintage dymo label affixed to knob end (Redus' number) with period "5" written in black marker indicative of Bench's uniform number. Handle area also have several vintage "5" numerals written in black marker. As confirmed by Johnny Bench the offered Redus bat was used by Bench as well. Interesting and unique Bench game bat with impeccable provenance.**NOTE: The offered baseball bat may be autographed by Johnny Bench if the winning bidder wishes to do so but was preserved in its original state for its initial presentation at auction.
