Description: San Francisco 49ers helmet attributed to Dwight Clark c.1980-81. Riddell full-size 49ers helmet retains its original team decals on both side panels. Interior padding remains intact with S/80 and 8/80 markings indicating its production in late 1980. Original facemask remains with the helmet but has become partially detached with two attachment clips having broken. "87" is written in period black marker inside the ear flap indicating Clark's uniform number which he wore between 1979-1987. Clark has signed the top of the helmet in black Sharpie along with "87Ü notation. The helmet itself shows evident use including surface scuffing and indentations.
