Description: 1963 Jim Bouton autographed New York Yankees professional model home jersey. Pinstriped flannel jersey with the famed "NY" interlocking Yankees team logo on front chest has player number "56" on back. In the collar is an embroidered strip tag reading "Bouton" and he has autographed the jersey just below (blue marker rating 8 out of 10). "Spalding" manufacturer's tag remains on front tail with adjacent size "42" tag. The year "63" is noted in slightly faded period black marker (common to Yankees jerseys issued that year). Usage and wash wear evident throughout remaining well preserved overall with some mild spotting to back. Ideal all original period exemplar dating to Bouton's only (20) win season and a year in which the team captured an American League pennant.
