Description: Johnny Pesky 1975 Boston Red Sox American League Championship ring. Original 10K ring as presented to Pesky as a member of the legendary1975 AL Champion Red Sox team. The 1975 World Series between the Red Sox and the Cincinnati Reds ranks as one of the most dramatic in Major League history. After a grueling 12 inning Game #6, Carlton Fisk "willed" his home run into fair territory to send the Red Sox on to a likely World Championship. In Game 7, the mighty Reds mounted a comeback victory to steal the series from the Boston faithful yet again. Top of the ring displays a single inset diamond of approx. 1/2 carat weight on a red field surrounded by "Boston Red Sox American League Champions" lettering. "Pesky" with Red Sox logo appears on one side panel, and "1975" on the other. Marked "Balfour 10K" on the interior ring band. The ring exhibits evident use with some general light surface wear throughout. Classic championship ring from a seven decade Red Sox figure. Size 10 3/4: EX-MT
