On the back is a blue marker "2nd 4/1/13 4-5" notation. MLB Authentication hologram (EK296675) affixed which confirms that base was used in Atlanta and was on field as Chase Utley hit his 200th career home run. Maroon silk lined zipper front jacket accented with yellow trim is attributed to Usher use at Shibe Park which later became Connie Mack Stadium. Breast pocket buttons feature a stylized “P” at center, done in the same style as the Phillies used sporadically throughout the period. “Bob’s Uniform Co” labeling in collar has a series of handwritten/typed identifiers. Home pinstripe knit jersey originally issued to Dick Allen who was cut in Spring Training of 1977. The shirt was then issued to Dave Johnson (other similar Allen shirts are also know to have been worn by Johnson in 1977). Jersey front retains its original maroon "P" with #15 on both front and back. The #15 on the front has slightly different toning to the numerals which has been seen on other Phillies shirts of the period. "Allen" chain stitched onto a strip tag remains in original condition inside the collar area. The "Allen" nameplate on the reverse has been restored at some point. Wilson tag along with "44 77 1" size/year/set tag remains affixed to the tail front. The jersey exhibits evident use and wash wear. Allen has signed the shirt across the front. Attractive and displayable exemplar with relation to a very popular player in Phillies history.
