| Description: Ted Williams Major League Baseball Lifetime Pass c.1950s. Significant silver plated pass as issued to Williams in appreciation for his service to the game of baseball. Rectangular pass measures 1 3/4"x 2 3/4" displaying ornate raised lettering dÄcor inclusive of "Ted Williams" facsimile signature. The pass is remarkably clean with minimal surface wear and retains its original leather sheath, cardboard greeting from AL and NL Presidents, and original exterior box which has several hand written notations by Williams including "Baseball Life Pass" in black fountain pen. It has been commonly remarked by players over the years that the Lifetime Pass bore great significance to the legacy of their respective careers.
