Description: Bob Schenz 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers World Championship trophy. Original figural trophy presented to Bob Schenz stands 12" tall featuring brass pennants with team names around the perimeter of a large brass circle with a crown finial. A brass band on the base reads, "Los Angeles Dodgers World Championship Trophy Presented by The Commissioner of Baseball October 20, 1988 Robert J. Schenz" in black lettering on the front. The trophy remains very clean with minimal overall wear and some light tarnishing. Desirable high quality trophy commemorates the Series that is best remembered for Kirk Gibson's dramatic pinch-hit, game winning home run in the bottom of the ninth inning off Oakland relief ace Dennis Eckersley in Game 1 at Dodger Stadium.
